How to Book
Booking with Beach4x4 is straightforward. Here’s the process:
- Step 1: Call or text us at (252) 564-4218 with your dates and preferred vehicle, or email bret@beach4x4.com.
- Step 2: Send proof of full-coverage personal auto insurance by text or email. This is required to secure your reservation.
- Step 3: Receive your booking confirmation with pickup details.
- Step 4: Pick up your fully-equipped Jeep at 2101 Colington Road, Kill Devil Hills (7 AM – 8 PM, 7 days a week).
- Step 5: Hit the beach!

- Weekly Rental: $1,338 flat (our specialty and best value)
- 3–6 Day Rental: $200/day
- 2-Day Rental: $225/day
- 1-Day Rental: $275 (call to book — not available online)

Insurance Requirements
We require proof of full-coverage personal auto insurance that extends to rental vehicles. Most credit-card rental insurance is not sufficient because it typically excludes off-road / sand driving. If you don’t have full-coverage insurance, you’ll need to purchase a short-term rental policy that includes off-road use before pickup.
Cancellation Policy
If you cancel 7 days or more before pickup, you receive a full refund. Cancellations within 7 days of pickup incur a $225 cancellation fee. We offer flexibility for bad-weather situations — just contact us if rain is in the forecast.
Age & ID Requirements
The primary renter and driver must be at least 25 years old with a valid driver’s license and full-coverage personal auto insurance.
Payment Methods
We accept credit cards and debit cards. Note: debit cards have a $300 security hold that can take 3–7 business days to release after vehicle return — we recommend a credit card to avoid temporarily tying up your funds.
